Monroe County is blessed with great schools, low poverty, low unemployment, faithful church goers, and most importantly, a safe place to live and raise our families.

Borrowing has consequences. Today's spending becomes tomorrow's debt—and eventually someone has to pay the bill.  Government should live within its means—just like families and businesses do.

Government exists to protect our rights—not to take them away. Our constitutional rights are the foundation of our government and must be protected.
